Founded in 2020 in Singapore, A Blue Cube Design (ABCD) is a youthful and dynamic studio driven by the belief that great design is both personal and purposeful. Born in the midst of a global shift, ABCD emerged with a bold mission: to reimagine local living spaces through creativity, precision, and heart.
Our team—though young as a company—is made up of experienced designers and dedicated artisans, each bringing over a decade of industry knowledge. What sets us apart is our hunger to grow. We constantly challenge ourselves to think beyond trends, delivering timeless designs that reflect both individuality and functionality.
The name “ABCD” is intentionally simple yet layered with meaning. “A” is for the homeowner, our guiding compass; “B” for the designers who shape each space with intent; “C” for the skilled craftsmen who bring visions to life; and “D” for the user experience—smooth, collaborative, and always centered on trust.
Specializing in landed homes, resale condominiums, and conservation houses, ABCD has rapidly built a distinctive portfolio. Each project is a fresh opportunity to explore new ideas while honouring the character of the space and the lifestyle of its owners.

We engaged them for our 4-room BTO at Tampines and were very pleased with the outcome! We got Averse as our ID and he was helpful throughout the whole process; with his wealth of experience, he was able to make recommendations on things like choice of tiles, lighting placements etc. which we benefitted from. Both my wife and I are also busy with work, and Averse was able to independently manage the timelines and everything, which we are really grateful for. What truly impressed us was how quickly Jessie captured our aesthetic without us having to spell it out. The mood board she put together resonated deeply with the vibe we were going for - artistic and minimalistic. Both the layouts and mood boards are designs that didn't feel generic or templated; they felt considered and intentional in a way that's genuinely rare. Choosing an interior designer was very challenging in our renovation journey. We met with several strong firms, and Jessie stood out by quite a significant margin as our top choice right until the end. Her professionalism, sincerity, and genuine care for how we actually live our daily lives came through in every interaction. We consulted with ABCD during our renovation shortlisting process and had a wonderful experience working with Hansel. What stood out immediately was his creativity in how he approached the layout. He came up with an idea that genuinely impressed us. His design sensibility clicked with us from the start, and the concepts he presented were both thoughtful and brilliant in their execution. Equally impressive was his willingness to listen. Throughout the process, he was flexible, patient, and always ready to incorporate our feedback without hesitation. Communication was smooth and effortless, and he was consistently responsive — exactly the kind of designer you want to work with on something as personal as your home. While we ultimately went with another firm for this particular project due to specific requirements on our end, we would not hesitate to recommend Hansel and the ABCD team to family and friends. If you are looking for a designer who combines creativity with genuine attentiveness to your needs, Hansel is absolutely worth your time.
Think we used up all our luck in 2025 to get a wonderful ID that saved us so much headache in a not-so-good year. Ruvy was the first ever ID we spoke with and out of the 10 or so IDs we later spoke with, we eventually went back and signed with her. She is very experienced, super resourceful and definitely loves and takes pride in what she does. This was a perfect match for us as we were entirely inexperienced home owners, she gave very useful and helpful suggestions and alternatives when challenges inadvertently occurred. We dont take this for granted as she could have ripped us off with expensive but unnecessary suggestions and we'd have taken it, but she finds so much pride in her profession and the relationship with her clients, that she always gives genuine and helpful advice aligned to our interests. Her aesthetic eye is also tasteful and adjusted to us, to the point that when she first suggest something and I may be skeptical, the result would eventually turn out beautifully. We are very happy with how the house turned out, and the bold and artistic choices she made for us. The last thing we wanted was a template Singaporean house and she delivered such a warm, unique and in-character house for us. Would highly recommend Ruvy and ABCD especially if you want a fuss-free experience working with a genuine, capable and experienced ID.
Jason is our ID and we had an awesome experience working with him. From the very first meetup, he understood our vision, recommended ideas, integrated and transformed them into a beautiful, functional space that exceeded our expectations. Most importantly, well within our budget. The layout planning, choice of materials and colours were also thoughtfully considered. Though there were some challenges along the way, Jason was always able to come up with practical solutions. Since moving in, our home has received compliments from family and friends. We highly recommend Jason to whoever looking for a fantastic renovation experience.
