We had a really great experience working with our interior designers, Kean and Abel. From the start, we gave them a timeline of about 3 months to complete the project, and they managed to deliver within that period despite us working with a tight budget. During this time, we also had our wedding, so we honestly couldn’t give as much attention to the renovation as we would have liked. Even then, Kean and Abel were incredibly supportive and patient with us throughout the process. They took the time to guide us, answer our questions, and accommodate our situation without any pressure. Whenever issues came up or decisions had to be made, they were quick to respond and always came up with practical solutions that fit well with the overall design. We went in without a clear theme in mind, only knowing that we wanted a cozy home. They guided us with plenty of suggestions and ideas, helping us visualise different styles until we found what suited us best. In the end, they brought everything together beautifully and created exactly the warm, cozy space we were hoping for. When we got our first home, we had a super clear idea of how we wanted it to look and the kind of vibe we wanted to feel living in it. We met a few firms before this, but something just didn’t feel right. Then we met Adrian and Joseph at the Ninelines office — they came prepared with quotes and renders, and we just clicked immediately. I could tell they really understood what I wanted, and we had zero hesitation engaging them. Honestly, the whole process? No complaints. Of course there were small hiccups here and there (like every reno), but Adrian and Joseph were always super responsive and solution-oriented, which made us feel very assured. We barely even had to head down to the house to check on things — unlike some of our friends who had to go every few days. Whenever we had sudden design or functionality changes, they were so patient in explaining what they’d recommend and why. And truly, we have no regrets trusting their advice. When it came to buying fittings and furniture, they were very proactive — even offering to come along to give their opinions and help coordinate deliveries and logistics with all the different vendors. That really made things so much easier for us. Near the end of the reno, we had to travel for work, but we felt completely at ease leaving everything in their hands. When we came back, it was almost fully ready for move-in. Overall, the whole experience was smooth and stress-free.
